Ben Block - Powerless Figurehead (a.k.a. Founder & Director)

As an entrepreneur from a young age, I've always been chasing the next big idea...a video arcade in grade 7, a tutoring company in grade 11...the list goes on. Basically your run of the mill dreams of world domination (is that wrong?) Fortunately one of those many hair-brained schemes was Sundial, starting up in 1999 while I chipped away at a Bachelor of Commerce degree at the University of Alberta. Though our initial focus was on the web our capabilities have expanded greatly since then with many more opportunities on the horizon. I have a real love for building a business, and Sundial offers me a unique opportunity to help others do just that through creative and careful design and marketing. In my off hours I attend the U of A Law School part-time, hit the gym a little too infrequently, downhill ski much too infrequently and enjoy traveling and long walks on the beach. Jey Naicker - Ambassador of Kwan (a.k.a. Project Manager)

As the Ambassador of Kwan at Sundial I wear a lot of hats...luckily I have three heads. Ok, only one head...but it is really, really good looking. Seriously though, Sundial is a dynamic company that has presented me with a great opportunity to apply my years of managment experience gained in a Fortune 100 company. The fast-pace of our workflow has been a great outlet for my natural obsessive compulsion toward details, and my borderline unhealthy fascination with technology has come in handy with streamlining our processes. I'm a natural, what can I say? Outside of keeping Sundial's many balls in the air, I work out regularly, play Rugby, and run with my dog Dante. Oh and just so you know...Ben and I have were friends in Junior High School, so if you need any embarassing stories or photographs just let me know, I'll hook you up.

Pat Chan - Marketing Guru (a.k.a. Business Development)

A true continental traveler, I have lived in Mission, Ladner, Whitehorse, Ashcroft, Clinton, Kamloops, Vancouver, Los Angeles, and Charlottetown before relocating to Edmonton in the fall of 2006. I was a web geek when people only understood the geek part and I have always enjoyed sales and networking. When I was younger I embraced the student life and spent perhaps too many years in university before finally being let loose on the business world. I enjoy outdoor activities of all types including; cycling, running, hiking, canoeing, birdwatching, photography and golf.

Jordan Carson - Chief Rocka' (a.k.a. Graphic Designer)

Good evening, lovely to see you again.  Welcome to my bio, I am five-time Tony award winner and graphic designer Jordan Carson, yes, the Jordan Carson.  Don’t be intimidated, I put my pants on just like you, one leg at a time, but when I’m done, I create fabulous designs  Now I don’t want to toot my own horn, but… I’m kind of a big deal, I’m the Robert Goulet of this industry.  I also have many leather-bound books.  Aside from my work, I have many interests that range from my skills with the harmonica, my extensive knowledge of Civil War fortification, and my ninja-like dodgeball prowess.  So there you are, a little glimpse into who this crazy cat really is.  Thanks for stopping by *wink*

Terrin Kaminsky - Dezine Diva (a.k.a. Graphic Designer)

My name is Terrin Kaminsky and I am the “dezine diva” here at Sundial. Originally from Regina, Saskatchewan, and the eldest of a family of six, I was the first to leave and venture out into the big city of Edmonton in the fall 2006.  I have always been interested in the arts, both visual and as well through culture. I am one of the few full blooded 100% Ukrainians nowadays, and am very proud of my background, and at one time was even able to speak, dance and embroider.... all at once! My passion for the arts took me in the direction for a career in graphic design and I obtained my Bachelor of Applied Arts (Visual Communications) Degree from Medicine Hat College.  So here I am today, another Saskatchewan girl, living in the big city, loving my job at Sundial, and still trying to figure out how to drive in a traffic circle. Naveed Afsar - Graphic Designer

Hello there! My name is Naveed Afsar and I am from Karachi, Pakistan. I came to Canada a few years ago and enrolled in NAIT (North Alberta Institute of Technology), for a diploma in Digital and Interactive Media and Design Technology. By profession, I am a graphic designer, but I enjoy many different aspects of modern art. My hobbies and interests include photography, rock music, movies, and 3D animation. I have four sisters and two brothers, and am currently engaged. I really enjoy working with my clients and showing them the broad spectrum of possibilities that can be created in the world of design and print media.
